La Sirena Café is located in Marblehead, MA and serves great espresso-based drinks—made from imported Italian beans, using a state-of-the-art machine—alongside delicious yet healthful light meals and small plates; the dishes offered combine our chef’s southern Italian heritage with her abiding fascination for meals fresh from the garden, and that take advantage of the plethora of new and somewhat untapped alternatives to animal products.
Teresa Sirignano, our owner and executive chef, is a veteran of long standing in Italian restaurants in the North End, East Boston, and the North Shore. She started in the industry at a young age, and can’t quite seem to quit the habit. Since opening her first place of her own a few years ago in Swampscott, a sister restaurant Café Avellino, where she gives the community a welcome bit of evening entertainment with music, southern Italian comfort food, and a creative bar.
